Well, even if it wasn't meant to be religious, it definitely has religious overtones. From a religious standpoint it looks like you're saying that you treasure the ability to understand right from wrong and partake of all the grays in between, and that you can't understand why anyone would ever want to be so completely innocent again because there is something special about understanding and being aware, despite the other consequences that befell. Gah...lol...I'm getting all philosophical here. *snickers* Lol...Now if I can figure out your true meaning...lol. That's the harder part. Hm...It sounds like you once had a very clear-cut picture about life and then elements/or a person, moved in and introduced the greys that made you feel almost bad about assuming in black and white because it's almost too judgemental. And after tasting of the gray world, you never wanted to be quite so rigid anymore because that way of life seems to have lost it's definition. Lol. I'm probably way off, eh? *grins* I think I'm just interpreting it from my own standpoint, not yours. Heehee...It's probably what I would have been thinking if I had written the poem. *snickers* Except, I can't write poetry. *pouts and then grins* Oh, well...just because I can't write it doesn't mean I can't enjoy it.
