The emotion felt in reading is deeper than the words portray it, if that makes any sense. In short, I like it. The quote from the original Mermaid is beautiful, and you let its theme flow perfectly into this one. A wonderful (yet very sad) comeback after so long away from fictionpress.

Sad ending though, and on today of all days as well. >>;(Just lost my cat to disease) Anywho...keep up the good work, I like reading short flicks like this.
