Wow that is just... wonderful in its simplicity and breathtaking use of antagonistic images, like "beautiful" vs "forgotten" and "rain" vs "moonlight".. Very succinct and mysteriously obscure, leaving much of its possible connotations for the reader himself to discover. Wow, that is exactly how I think Haiku should be. Definitely a favorite :-)

Very simple. Nor correct on syllables, but I think you'll find I really couldn't care less about the syllable rule. I even wrote a haiku about it. Anyway, nice job.

I thought haikus were lines of 5,7,5 syllables? Hm... It was still very beautiful though. Great work!
