Wish it had been a better first trip but there's always next time...If Brian lets her. He seems like the average protective older brother. I always wanted one, but hell I got stuck being the oldest myself. Nicole seems like a fun energetic girl. Can't wait to see more of her. The boys, I'm not sure who I like more. Quinn seems like a sweet guy. Obviously he won't say anything but you got a good sense of his character through his actions. Fun loving, sweet and very playful, yet he knows when to be serious. Then there is Thaniel, not mush with him, cept that he was trying to get away from dancing with Quinn, which makes me think he's a little more serious. Matthias, well he gains the title of flirt, and I really think he earns it, though all the boys seem to be flirts, except maybe Gideon but we'll see in chappies to come. But back to Matthias, flirt yes, but he also seems like the protective type. Gideon, haven't gotten much from him yet but Trinity goes to him about most things and as was mentioned he's the leader of the Cards. Whatever that means. You really do get the sense that he is the leader. Trinity, what can I say. I want to blame the dancing on him and maybe it is part his fault but for some reason I feel that if Lia would have asserted herself more she could have gotten back in there. Eh, who knows I could be wrong. Lia, Lia, Lia, Sweet girl, but so totally shy as out dear Trinity himself said. She needs more self-confidence, but I can so see where she's coming from and you do a wonderful job of showing the everyday insecurities that so many girls feel. Heck a girl can be as self confident as any and still feel totally insecure around a certain male specimen. Okay, the dogs…or wolfs as was mentioned in chapter one, um are you calling men dogs? Cuz I don’t think you’re far off. Lmao. Any who, lots of mystery surrounding that aspect of the story. Now onto what I really want to talk about…that closing scene. Good damn who is Christoffer? Or better yet what is Christoffer (said with as much questioning and uncertainty as I can express...well maybe not that much but you get the point)? And what the Fck does he want? I mean seriously, he freaked me out. And what in the world is his interest in Lia? Is it simply because cough Trinity cough likes cough her cough cough *cough. And Gideon mock leader…is someone else the leader…or was someone else the leader. I have two suspects at this point in time. ArtsyTartsy86 2007-02-10 ch 1,	abuseNIM! I've missed ya...and I am alive, i swear. Even if I have been non-existant in ways of the internet, and reviewing. I do tend to get into nasty habits. Well anywho, I was sitting at work, bored out of my head and decided hell lets get online and read something. Couldn't find anything good and I thought of you and all your wonderful stories (needless to say I think you need to update each nad everyone like 20 times, but my lazy ** really is in no position to ask for such things). So I thought of you nad decided that I would read a chappie, and I really like house of cards, such mystery. So i reread it cuz we all know you can't have an update up without me reading it within two days of posting whether I review or not so yeah here I am alive and well. Lia seems like fun, Trinity is awesome nad I've read chapter two and my mind has a few lines of thought to run by but it's like 40 minutes to close and I have to get going and and and well This is the hello and next comes the How could you and what are you planning looks. Hazeleyed Everglades 2006-08-09 ch 1,	abuse^^ I actually meant to finish reading this and review yesterday, but then I got caught up in Pirates. ^^;; Eheh... oops? =P This story is actually how I "found" you-- it was first on the "Just In" section, and looked good. After all, werewolves? It's right up my alley! ^^ I like the title, ("House of Cards" just sounds so... sophistocated. lol Even though I'm getting the feeling it's not as sophistocated as it sounds. =P) and also like how you've already kind of dealt with how the title relates to the story. I'm still a little confused, though. Is it the house of "cards" because they're all crazy (lol! =P) or is it something more? I also like the length. I'm into lengthy chapters. xD Oh! And the beginning! I loved it-- "We're out of milk, shortstuff." LOL It made me grin and really want to keep going right away! And the creepy guy in the store during the blackout-- he's not gone for good is he? creepy music I can tell! Ooh, wait-- I bet he was Matthias! xD Moremoremoremore!! Son! lol
