Nietzschean nightmares 2006-08-18 . chapter 1The mordancy is very compelling and I couldn't help but smile at the last line. You paint a very accurate picture of our world, I think, with this poem. It is both smooth and hard, filled with fads and false words and too many easy fashion statements and people who do think it's gorgeous to wear their heart on their sleeve and spill their problems on national TV, for fifteen minutes of fame. It's a macabre image, but, in some ways, a lovely one. |
sharpedgedpen 2006-08-14 . chapter 1That is a very good point:P Wearing your heart on your sleave is just messy. In more ways then one:P |
Chaos Apple 2006-08-13 . chapter 1This was wonderful! The sarcasm, and the "Thrusting out your insides"-fantastic! I love it! |
ossining 2006-08-11 . chapter 1Heh, I like this one. Short, packs a punch, and the last line is so catty and wonderful. I'm glad I found this. Keep writing! :) |
phthalo blue 2006-08-11 . chapter 1I like the sarcasm toward just another saying "your heart on your sleeve" and how you give it a much more cryptic meaning.
Great poem. :) |
