This is very sweet. Not like some of your more experimental pieces, more straightforward and to the point. No guessing around metaphors and the like. The last stanza is so filled with longing, but longing coupled with uncertainty. You want the other to know you are trying hard to reach them, but you're not quite certain they will be waiting for you when you get there. So true in so many relationships. Should we? Shouldn't we? It's so hard to know. Yes, "unknown waiting is so unfair."

Great job as usual. This would make a very good song. Perhaps it is. Please don't be such a stranger. Your absence is greatly felt.
