abuseI love the metaphore of Paris being a woman. At first, the italicized words annoyed me, but as I continued reading, it gave a pensive edge to the prose, making it seem as if I was intruding into the narrator's memory.

Awesome job; I thoroughly enjoyed this.

abusethis might be my favorite of yours yet(portrait of a woman coming in close 2nd) the beginning you really had me thinking of this romance in a casablanca like way and like Paris is their only happy memory...but wow you fooled me again! The end really tied it in beauitfully maybe because you got the idea after the title but wow it really left you shocked! I really like how you have these mini stories and i think this one was perfect length and everything. You did a good job describing Paris considering you've never been! snaps for you!!

abuseI liked the ending. It was good how the character took to hating the city as a generalisation of the woman. It also raises the question; if they had never gone to Paris, would they still be together? Of course not, but you could tell that a small part of her was thinking that. It was a good piece.
