This is so true. The fixing there is far, far from over! My mom went down to Mississipi last year and her pictures and stories reveal that the devistation is worse than I could have ever imagined. The work after Katrina won't be done for many years from now. Thanks for this peice; I hope lots of people read it and realize how horrible Katrina not only was, but how horrible the aftereffects still are and will be for years to come.
