Reviews For: The Working Mind
concerto49 2008-07-30 . chapter 1
Wow, this really does try to play with your mind - in turns of that the description makes the scenery alive, and in second person it pushes the reader into the world. Hm, the thing I'd consider is a bit more sentence variation - most of it has too many clauses and a bit long. I think some of it could have been in separate sentences. This drags it out a little, and reduces the effect you've created. It even feels like those first person games where you only see a view of what's in front of you. It's a nice guidance into the world. Felt a bit scary too.

Wow. Really great. I'm seriously speechless. It was utterly amazing, truly going into the mind of someone who is both a writer and an artist, though not totally just focusing on main facts. Putting it into a different sort of context, in which the reader can truly interact and sort of know what is taking place, is very good, and applaud you on that. I too, am both a writer and artist, and I couldn't have explained better what happens in my mind. Great work!
