Powerful - as always.

it's hard to know where to begin. certain experiences i've had, i swear i can see the ghosts of them in this piece. it's remarkable how well you capture the feeling of being almost destroyed by what you love.

the passage 'while you play the fool/thrashing at demons and ghosts/and begging for that hand/the one which keeps you down/until you break yourself free/you will never see it' is eerily similar to the situation i was in with a loved one.
