| stained blue 2008-07-12 ch 1, | abusethe way you formatted this is so powerful & beautiful. i really liked the repeation of over and over and over and-- i adored the ending--something about it. tragicful and mournful almost. |
| Rozovian G 2007-02-19 ch 1, | abuseI am lazy, too lazy to read any of your longer stuff, but with Ath II almost done, I trust you won't hold that against me. :P This one is suitably named. The POV-shifting was a little bothersome, but other than that, it's well formatted and well written. The ending has something of a Romeo&Juliet-feel to it. It's all good, to whatever extent something this dark and tragic can be referred to as being good. It's emotional, but not too much, it's surrealistic, but not too much, and it's tragic - and not too little so. "...if the fall doesn't kill you, the fact that you're still alive will." - good line, very suitable. And a good ending for the review, too. |
| JaveHarron 2006-09-19 ch 1, anon. | abuseSurrealistic. I take it that it's written in the perspective of someone in a coma due to a drug/alcohol overdose? Seems like you're trying out transrealism. Fun stuff. |
| poet tree 2006-08-24 ch 1, | abuseAmazing. I like the fragmented thoughts from Danny's point of view. + faves. |
| La-rose-de-soleil 2006-08-24 ch 1, | abuseWow, I really liked this. It expresses everything the characters feel, with not a sentence wasted. The middle part is almost like a poem, and the vignette division helps the reader understand Danny and Katie's helplessness against the inevitablities of their futures, a life of messing up and Danny's death. An amazing peice of writing! |
