Wow your writing is really really really good. Profound and fascinating. I have never met a writer as profound and aware of weaknesses. Most talk of depression never really knowing the meaning. You know that it's a weakness and I admire that. This is a really cool website. I want to start using it. Thankyou very much for turning me on to it.

Great story! I really was able to get inside of the character's mind and could relate to her broken heart. You use really descriptive words and analogies that take me into the heart of your character. Anyone who has loved and lost knows how it rips our hearts to pieces.

I can't wait to read more...Will she pick up the pieces and move on? Perhaps a "screw him" attitude as a twist towards the end? I would like to see a strong woman come out of this relationship. Happiness is the best revenge!

I love the double meaning in the title. Very nice.

The tone is very good, especially dealing with all the angsty-ness. She makes no references to friends or family, which leads the reader to believe that she really /is/ alone. (I'd strongly reccomend not starting the next chapter off with her having a conversation with somebody. I'm not saying she should be alone through the whole chapter, just don't start it off with her having company. Give it half a page or so.)

I also like how she acknowledged she "shouldn't let a man control my life and tell me what I'm worth. But I did." It's like despite still being in love with him, she subconciously acknowledges that she made some not-so-great decisions.

All in all, very nice. ^^
