I will be honest, I am not sure how I felt about this--it just didn't resonate c/ me--but I thought you played c/ format in an interesting & successful way.

I like the somethat choppy, poetic style you use here, which makes it seem as though the story is happening through a haze. Peter's sadness is portrayed very well, and though it was a bit sudden, the ruinion with Jesus was very powerful.

catholic and other christian leaders in my country, being the only predominantly christian nation in asia, would probably stumble over themselves fighting to get this piece of one-shot as a promotional campaign for Easter.

why?

it was simply breathtaking. you somehow made a good mix of poetry (judged from your short yet flowing words) and prose, and i totally love how even the center alignment complemented it. you might have been inspired by God Himself when you wrote this, just like the first reviewer said, and i'm quite inclined to agree. the emotional impact of this short story is something that you wouldn't find anywhere else... i laud you for making people, especially Christians, reflect on the horror that our Savior went through to redeem us.

I was having a bad day today, that was until I read you story. It amazes me how much heart-felt emotion you pour in to your work. God has truley blessed you as a writer. And all that emotion you pour in...is funneled right back out to the reader;giving us that much needed 'pick me up'/ or hope we were looking when we started with that very first sentence.
