Holy o.O Didn't see that coming. And by "that" I mean pretty much everything. One unexpected event after another. Very nice. I did notice one thing, and I do hope I don't seem like a jerk:

"Wearing a blue uniform, only his hands and face were visible."
This is known as a "dangling modifier" and basically says that his hands and face were wearing the uniform.

This has a very clear message and, although it was a bit unsubtle for my taste, it was interesting. I liked that this guy was a mailman, both for the "going postal" expression because he brought news and connected people. In more ways than one...
