Holy crap. You know... I know someone in this paticular situation right now. He shares stories with me, and he got a girl pregnant. Well, except maybe I should mention he was never actually straight. He just wanted to see what sex with a girl was like. So maybe not really the SAME situation.

I suppose that being Irish, she's a nice Catholic girl. I've always thought that it should take two to make a baby and that it should be a deliberate act - a concious choice to bring a new life into the world.

At least your charcter seems to realize what he's in for. The girl he's dating, though...all she can see is that the baby is "someone to love her". That usually disappears by about the third month of screaming, no sleep and atomic diaper changes.

Wait until Ms. Blondie wants to go to the mall and can't because they're broke since all the money went to buy formula and diapers.
