i can relate to this poem. the first few lines reminded me of how i feel too hard for a guy and the end i just got hurt but at the end, if it wasnt for that, i would of never started writing poems to release the feelings that i had bottled up for 2 years. well anyways, i loved this poem. wonderful job! hope you can check out some of my work. :)

You know, I love this poem. All the poems I hear now-a-days are about rejection, how the person doesn't like them back, or how great love is or whatever...

I've never quite heard a poem about someone falling for another person TOO much. like being overconsumed...

It's refreshing...like a different perspective to a situation...

This sounds like it could be lyrics to a song. It has the right kind of repetition, specifics, and growth of character.

I like the descriptions of the "you" as:

"my adrenaline rush, when I felt numb / my novocaine, when pain would come"

Novacaine especially is a cool way to put it, because you definitely avoid sounding clichéd.

wowthis is the second of your poems that i've read, and i love your style, and the way you writeeverything really flows well, and you've flawlessly pulled of the rhyme, it isn't forced at all

At first I thought this was about a relationship but after I read your note and reread the poem, I don't know. I really like this piece... the conclusion is fuller, was stitched on when the character has battled and won, and has the modern day gritty element of happy endings that have evolved from Sleeping Beauty's dreamy kiss.

i like how this poem is clear, and yet obscure; at first i thought it was about a relationship, but now i'm not too sure... You wrote it well, though; it felt so easy to read. Really nice work. This is on my favourites list.
