| Lizzy-Lou 2007-07-28 ch 1, | abuseWell, I feel like I owe you some constructive criticism. I don't have time to read it all at the moment, but here's what I've gathered from chapter one. First of all, I don't think the first few lines are very good, just my opinion. The way they are worded is a little strange to me. Tears don't typically run down your eyes, they run down your cheeks. Also when you write dialogue, there should not always be a period at the end of the quotation. Such as, "Hi Bob," I said. Instead of "Hi Bob." I said. Also, you repeatedly use "your" instead of "you're." There are a lot of places that you neglect to use commas, as well. All in all, the first chapter was interesting enough that I might read more at a later time, and the writing is not too bad aside from some grammatical errors and punctuation mistakes.
