Erisah Mae 2007-03-27 ch 41,	abuseSo far I'm loving this story, but one teeny, tiny point. You have Gabriel describing himself as cold and uncaring. Nobody, and I mean Nobody actually says that about themselves, even if they have recently done a great deal of soulsearching. And that's even if they are an unusually emotionally aware person. Maybe if you got him to mean the same thing, but not in those words? Extreme self-criticism, even in retrospect, will generally not link to a person feeling that they are uncaring. Selfish, yes, belligerent, yes, arrogant yes. Uncaring? Perhaps too strong a word. Particularly for a guy to use... most guys, antisocial or not, don't seem to find labels for their behaviour.
