I can’t find any reason for you to “hate this later.” This piece has vivid imagery, interesting use of language, and an overall alluring feel. It’s almost dream-like, but it is still concrete enough to be realistic. I like that contrast. I also liked the repetition of the word ‘pluck’ – it was very effective. Keep up the good work!
