A beautiful piece of writing - simply amazing.

Ah... I remember it, too. I didn't live quite so close as you did, but there was a hill in my town where you could see the NYC skyline, and all you saw, for even months afterward, was the dark smoke, rising into the sky.

My parents came to take me out of class, too, and as a bunch of kids were leaving and I, someone asked, "Who died?" It's cruelly ironic, when you look back on it.

I've read a lot about 9/11 and seen a lot of TV about it, but I've never read/watched anything about it with emotion like this. I think you did a really good job, I had goosebumps, chills, and I was close to tears just reading this. Your writing is also great, so all in all, this piece was amazing.

This is so beautiful and sad, and I'm so sorry you had to go through all this. 9/11 is still a very emotional day for me, and I will always remember it. This story is wonderfully written, and almost had me in tears.
Made in Britain 2006-09-23 . chapter 1
I was on an exercise called Swift Sword in Oman on September 11th along with another fifty thousand British and a hundred thousand Yank troops. Kind of handy/convenient don't you think? Anyway ** all that the real reason I'm reviewing is to find out where that poem called Duck ** Bubblebutt or whatever it was went to? I need to steal the link you used...

A deep narrative. I really don't know what to say (seeing as how I live in the west coast.) In terms of literary techniques though, I don't find it lacking in any form, and I am quite marveled at the fact that you can recall what happened five years ago so clearly. I'll see you on your next update. - ADD-san

being in the seventh grade myself, in sc, at the back of my science room (u know how big those can be), with bad vision, i didnt believe it was going on...i thought it was a bad movie and i, too, laughed when ppl were jumping because it seemed liek a dumb movie...cause i went up there and was in the wtc north tower in april 2001 and it didnt seem real...great, emotional piece and i, as an american, can relate

This is a truly emotional peice. Yesterday, our school didn't have a moment of silence for those who died in 9/11. I was enraged - but reading this story and crying will be my way of remembering. Thank you.

I remember too. At that time, I lived in New York City. It's something I will NEVER forget.~Rowan~
