Dear Mr. Jacobs,

I am writing to you today regarding the 2007 Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps, as a muscian myself, I would be interested in an audition. Do you believe there would be any positions avaliable for a mellophone in the key of B-flat? Unfortunately, there may be some minor transportation issues, though I do not believe they are insurmountable. Is it possible I could get a copy your expected costs for the coming year?

It would be advantageous if I could discuss further with you a transportation and payment plan, as I am somewhat constricted in my options. Perhaps you could contact me for further discussion, should you be interested in my request.

As for my experience, I have been playing the mellophone for a little over a year - this is my first season for marching with it. However, I have been playing clarinet for 5 years and marched clarinet for 2. I am dedicated marching musicians and am extrmeely interested in pursuing further opportunities to explore this passion.
