It feels like that last line just stripped everything else away and left just those bare bones. I'm reminded of Sin City when I read this, but yet it goes so much further than that. Excellent.

It's killer.

This is heartbreaking. You can just see someone sitting near to the rain thinking about a love that's lost or never really had in the first place. It's so unrequited and the length gives so much. You didn't need all the words just to get across such feeling.

I like this one, its simple yet has this sense of jealousy and wishing, or longing if you will. ps. I love October and rain, especially rain.
