I loathe writer's block, but it feels great once you come out of it. I mean look at the beauty you've created. It's enchanting. I really stirs up the thought process.fatastic

yeah i know about the writers block, i'm down to like a tenth of the poems i normally write.

this is really pretty. as it seems to be with me, it looks like a block will cause you to write a little differently the next time you get something. but it's beautiful. i kind of picture someone old...and maybe not a senior but someone older who doesn't really have anything huge left to look towards in life...telling this story about why she's ok with being there.

This piece is impressive. It flows extremely well. And while one might think that would be a basic element of any song, many of the songs on this site lack it. It also has some really interesting, thought-provoking line, and some of the images in this piece are striking. I particularly liked “he painted lips on all the faces without smiles,” “I thought I felt my hand rise as pages burned,” and “leaves fall with the rise of kings.” This piece was a joy to read.
