This poem makes it painfully obvious how love and family has nothing to do with blood relations but everything to do with care. Brilliant show of emotion... almost made me cry.

Wow, wow, wow. I'm honestly impressed at how much feeling and tragedy and yet this immense hopefulness you manage to transmit in just a couple of paragraphs. And you manage to carry drama without making it *dramatic* or pretenious- just the gritty, honest real-life. This is fantastic.
