Viscera Renejade 2009-09-07 . chapter 1
Author,

I so loved this poem the first time I read it... and now again it brings a smile to my face.

This contains the stages of grief and loss, belive it or not! :)
Grief : "we saved so many memories."
Loss : "“Why’d they have to take you?” I cried to my dear old friend."
Anger : "I’ve got school assignments, you know!"

It's an eerie realization that once something is gone that we've grown accustomed to needing, we search for a replacement. "I will move on, I’ll go to Best Buy -"
You hit the mark with this poem, good job.

Viscera.

Oh no! I feel for you in your time of loss. So fortunate for you that you found a replacement so fast, and for so cheap! Haha, very funny poem!

Funny! Hah..

but I daresay, it would have been better if you hadn't revealed it was the computer you were talking about in teh summary. That would have been even more hilarious.

Wow, this was beautifully whimsical. You generated the perfect tone for the event. However, I couldn't help but notice that a previous reviewer pointed this out and that it hasn't been attended to.

"or wherever dead computer’s go" -> "or wherever dead computers go" since it is plural and not conjunctive or possessive.

But honestly, GREAT WORK!

*laughs her head off*

If I didn't know that this was a poem about your computer, the first 6 lines alone would have made me cry. It starts out the poem in this sad way that becomes hysterical once you actually know what you are reading...

"I seek bloody revenge!" HAHA!!

I actually get mad at my computer, not mourn it, when it breaks this way... "We have to leave, part our ways, I've got school assignments, you know!"

Anyway, I like the poem and the rolicking rhymes that all fit together so nicely... Clever, clever, clever...

Yeah, anyway, great job!

wow! I loved that poem, though I felt kind of odd just sitting here laughing at my computer at 2am, but oh well. All of your poems that I've read flow really nicely, and have great emotion. You're a great writer, good work!

cheers

I don't usually read poetry because people on this site have a strange affinity for depressing stuff. This, I love. I got a good chuckle from it, especially the last line. Your poem is lots of fun, and I encourage you to write more comedic poetry!

P.S I just read through your prifile a bit more, and I love your stereotypical jokes about Canada. Haha. Well.. I live in an igloo because it's so cold here. Oh! and I have a pet beaver! Haha. :P And instead of horse back riding, here in Canada we ride moose. :P OK I'm getting carried away. XD Bye!

Hehe, it's original. Most people yell at their computers not mourn them, but I found your way funny. The ryming was a nice toutch too.
