Oh, yeah. This is powerful. I can feel this. The sense of hatred drips off of this one. Very well-thought and protrayed.

To make something like this more intense, try adding personal detail. The narrator is vague in terms of what she has suffered - true menace and macabre would come out if she were maniacally playful with drawing out the dread of the subject.
