fading innocence 9/30/06 . chapter 1Yo. FI here. I love this one, you should link to it in your profile, because a lot of the writers will find it interesting. I tried writing some freeverse poems but I dunno if they're very good. Speaking of poetry, I've been writing like WHOA. It's like the inspiration's pouring in but I can't put it to paper fast enough so it's pouring over my shoulders and splashing to the ground where it'll make beautiful tissue-paper flowers...dang, I'm starting to even speak poetically! Oh is there no end to this? That's how I feel sometimes, this poem, I have a fresh new sheet of paper and I feel if I stare at it too long, the white will absorb my inspiration without retaining any of the color, so I have to write fast. Okay, very odd...I've managed to inspire myself while reviewing one of your poems... *goes off to ponder this for a while* Fading Innocence 'dazzle me with your hypocrisy' |
Hidden Lies 9/27/06 . chapter 1Actually this did make me laugh. Writers block sucks, but you have made it into something interesting although it is every writer nightmare! LOVE IT! |
from beneath the bell jar 9/23/06 . chapter 1I love the rhyme scheme here. I had to go back and read it aloud. It doesn't rhyme but it does. I don't know how you pull it off, but it works. |
theatrical rhapsodies 9/21/06 . chapter 1Gr! I hate it when that happens (I hate it when I post my sucky writer's block poems and feel dumb) But you said this so well. Real feeling. Nice work. Love, Ellen |
Frau Welt 9/20/06 . chapter 1Yup...that's me in classes! |
and calliope said 9/18/06 . chapter 1Esh. Don't we all know that clogged feeling - well captured. Love these lines here: Chew on an idea, spit it used-up paper clouds |
Orual 9/18/06 . chapter 1I still think I should get off school when I have writer's block. It's a disease, I tell you! Heh, good job. You've captured the essence of writer's block. |
NewlyBorn 9/18/06 . chapter 1i like it :)i can definately relate to the horrible frustration, but the poem itself has an almost light tone to it...i really like it :) good job! |
