It's very earnest. I like the first and last stanzas; they're especially poignant. It's a bit long, particularly with the repeated "you missed", so perhaps you could try having the stanzas rhyme, just like the last one - it'll help make the poem flow better.:)

It's a nice poem, I was touched. Is it true? I was never so close to my grandparents, so I envy the narrator.. Well, keep writing! :)
