Wow...I'm impressed~Great job! :D You have lots of details and imagery, as well as some drama, making this an interesting piece =) It also really shows how unfortunate war is, especially when people are forced to die for their beliefs, but only to no longer experience the joys of life. Keep up your terrific writing; I'm looking forward to reading more of your work!

It was very good, pretty descriptive.I did think it was a little dry though. Then again, I'm no qualified literary critic.
