I like this piece a lot. You've got some excelletn langauge - I especially like the last stanza; you use "dove gray" in a fabulously allusive way! It's interesting to tie old-fashioned writing methods to old-fashioned ideas. This is a poem I'll need to read again and again and think about. Good work.
