ddz008 2009-09-20 . chapter 17Wonderful second part! It was great. The mystery was awesome, the characters wonderful... specially Roan and Paris. I'm in love with them... their relation is so great, they truly understand each other and know Paris' time is running short, That so terrible T_T I must say I usually prefer to read about people that haven't meet each other, then meet and how they get involved... so I don't like so many stories that deal with stablished couples... but this is awesome, it never gets boring. Will Roan ever get overcomed by the lion? So many questions! Now I'll go to read the next part (I have been alternating between reading this and doing my homework... and I must say I didn't do too much work). |
insomkneeack 2009-07-15 . chapter 17Ah! So good. But...is that all? What about Ro's old boyfriend- the one who committed suicide? Shouldn't he talk to Par about that? And what about the meeting between Par and his family? Or Par's final days? Or Ro's uniqueness? Oh my gawd! You could so write another sequel! If you already have, ignore this, but I doubt that you have, so you MUST! I absolutely love the storyline and the characters. I adore Ro and Par as a couple, and just by themselves. Very well written, I enjoyed it, and I have no idea why there aren't more reviews. This is such a good story. I really enjoyed it. Thank you very much!

juliandarling 2009-05-02 . chapter 3"Angus Podgorney what have you done!"
Blancmages from the planet Skyron in the galaxy of Andromeda?
You seriously made a Monty Python reference... Seriously. Fav fav fav. |
perrinette 2008-11-17 . chapter 17This story rocks! Your characters are very endearing and the plot is well done. |
 Zebbie 2008-05-15 . chapter 17God. Great story.
I just - uch. I got to the end and cried. Not a little bit either - horribly choking tears that wouldn't stop. Not because this story was particularly sad - you've just started bringing in the sense of impending, inescapable doom - but because the next one is going to be completely heart-wrenching, and God - I'm getting emotional again just thinking about it. Watching the person you love die of a degenerative disease is probably one of the things I dread most in the world, and you write it so bloody beautifully I'm going to have to pick a very sunny day to read the next installment. And then probably the same for the installment after that, because, Jesus, how do you go on after something like that? I just - uch - I don't know if I could.
But, yes - I'm enjoying (in some perverse way) being dragged through an emotional rollercoaster, and I like the cases that Paris and Roan work on. Really great reading and thoroughly un-put-down-able. |
Kilian 2008-05-02 . chapter 17You'll excuse me for not renting for hours like last time, I'm running to read next chapter :P |
Carmilla 2006-12-26 . chapter 17 I promised to read this asap... I did and, well, whoa. You're a master of plotting, pacing and quirky characters (as I keep telling you). Despite the 'strange' werecat background, the story is alive and so very real.
On the minus side are a few left out words (no actual typos I can remember) and some minor POV inconsistencies.
In other words, it's pretty damn impressing for something that didn't go through an extensive betaing/editing process. |
Nurgette 2006-12-11 . chapter 15Ahh no! How can you leave it it on such a cliffhanger??!
I can feel the story gradually drawing in to a satisying conclusion, and I just can't wait for the case to be finally solved. And I have some horrible ideas about what happens next with Roan...
Also, I love Mia's words right at the end of this last chapter. Though it's a serious, heart-pounding moment, her comments about the airbag give a tiny pause before the leap into total insanity that makes your cliffhanger even more sudden, and breathtakingly terrifying.
Keep on with this amazing writing! |
Nurgette 2006-11-19 . chapter 11Hi, I'm sorry for not reviewing all your other chapters. So much work to do at school at the mo so I have to read new installments all together when I get the chance.
WOW, is all I can say. Your writing is passionate and alive. Perhaps a little violent in places, but I know it's a vital part of the story. The story moves at just the right pace; something new is learned in each chapter, and something happens the keeps the action in balance with the theory and investigation side of things.
The undercover work that Paris does is keeping me on tenterhooks; I keep thinking something is going to happen, but he's just too good!
Now I can't wait to see what Roan does about the fact he almost let the lion out; will he tell Paris about it? It's scary... Once again, I impatiently wait for another chapter. |
Nurgette 2006-10-11 . chapter 4Wow, this is an awesome chapter! I was waiting for what would happen at the meeting; I thought that something bad would happen! The bit about the Alcoholics Anonymous was really funny, a great detail. You always have amazing detail and additions that make it more real.Paris' outburst was really touching, and some of the phrases you used were excellent, such as "The storm raged inside and out". And now we have more to think about- who called P and R? Who is the angry "Karen Hammond"? Keep on writing! |
SableRiyo 2006-10-03 . chapter 2I wonder how Roan will pull off investigating a group that hates infecteds and gays? The bantering back and forth over "my people", "your people", "our people" almost made my head spin.
I also wonder if maybe the connection between the people killed will be something to do with the one who infected them? Maybe I'm reading too much into things. |
Nurgette 2006-10-03 . chapter 2Hey, excellent start! I can see that this is definetly going to be just as engrossing and exciting as the previous story. I just love the way you write; there is a really personal tone and even the people who die within a few paragraphs have back stories and personalities. Write on! |
 Carradine 2006-09-28 . chapter 1WEREcats?!? |
SableRiyo 2006-09-28 . chapter 1I'm excited already. I wonder what kind of job Eli is hiring him for? And the tension in Roan and Paris's realtionship should make for some intreseting happenings. The cat killer element should add good suspense as well. Great start to the sequel. |
