I really enjoyed this. It has a great blend of happy and sad so that it isn't too schmaltzy. I think Andy and Christian are my favorite couple, although I also really like Brian and Alan :)

The only thing I didn't really like (and this is me reading too much into fictional characters) is that I'm afraid since Emily lost Jeremy, and she's still in high school, that she'll never open herself up to love again and will just keep matchmaking for other people. I know it makes her happy to see others in love, but she'll eventually be lonely and I think Jeremy would want her to eventually move on.

Anyway, great series of vignettes :)

Now, this might be a completely superfluous comment, but I have no malignant intentions. Sweet story, a nice bit of fluff, exactly as such things should be.

I just want to point out - because I'm Scandinavian and as such have a serious allergy to organized religion, christianity in particular, the american version even more so, and the societal rules I can't help but see as derived from this - that marriage to your cousin (the child of your parent's sibling - I don't exactly know what 'cousin' covers in English) is widely accepted both legally and socially in Europe, both Eastern and Western. Also all Arab countries, most, if not all, African countries, Mexico, Canada and about half the United States. On top of that, any exacerbated risk of serious birth defects involved is such a couple having children is minimal - the risk rises from 3-4% for a regular, unrelated couple, to 4-7% for cousins.

So, I'm sorry - for my atrocious English as well as a critique that probably doesn't mean much to you. It probably shouldn't, either. You just stepped on my quite sensitive toes - with your excuse, which I find offensive and patronizing.

Aw, this is adorable! I must admit it, the chapter where you talk about her boyfriend did make me tear up a little. .

this is the most real and sweet story..i love it how you just make it flow slowly and having up and downs like normal real life..no fairytale ending just ending with a whole lot of chances..i love that!...

Promoting sex or promoting safe sex? Have these people never heard of birth control? It sounds like John is equating having sex to getting pregnant, as though it is an inevitability. Ok, I'll stop complaining, I just have a problem with people not using protection. Otherwise, this is a cute series of intertwined oneshots. Sorry for the birth control hoopla. :)

Aw, that was so cute. Sweet and fluff and all that good stuff. I love it.

i really like this story because of all the wacky and different characters in this story. i find it a very fun read.

It's me again, my dear! Just checking in to say a very loud YAY for the chapter with the hickeys, which was the sweetest and funniest little vignettey thing. I was less rabidly enthused by the most recent chapter, but yeah, also sweet.

Oh, ths is so wonderful. It's cute/serious/sweet all at the same time. It's such an interesting story to tell. I'm very happy after reading this. In a...kind of messed up way. It's like you can believe in true love after this, like all of my cynicism went away. It's going on my favorites.

aw T_T... these lil stories were reallyy cute.. and funny and aw. just adorable. i noticed that the last two chapters from the others and im guessing that its because your wanting to write the old fasion way -smiles- nice jobe with this.. seriously

This was a great story. I would like to see a story that has Emily as the primary romantic target, though. I believe that she also deserves someone, despite all the pain that she has gone through. I'm sad to see the end, but I'm glad that the story ended well.

...It must be said. If Emily went to my school, I would be forced to kill her. Or the results would be ohgodsomessy. But then that's because my school has entire love polygons. Impressive ones, actually. And it's an all girls school, which makes it really very interesting...

So. Apart from the fact that she's an incurable busybody, I think these vignettes are really cute. And I'll even suspend my sense of logic in the face of fluff and romance. Good job!
