at first, i didnt really think it was about a teacher. 'cause not too many people write about teachers. :P (well, most of the stuff i read, anyway, is mostly about death and love and others.) i love your play with words. the poem was simple. yet it touches the heart. :) and the way you italicized only one word. i think it's a much more effective way to show emphasis. :D lurve it.

I like that part a lot. It's a novel idea, and leaves enough to the imagination to be interpreted in a way that makes it personal to the reader. This alone makes it a very interesting poem. Good work!
