They tends to make it a little immature and uneven - perhaps it could end "All you can do is wonder.../if it was worth it." Very similar, but perhaps a little more refined? Your words all sound very good together, well done. I liked the 'tender kiss of a friendly lover' - very nicely done there. A very loose and slippery poem - which is fairly fitting given the subject! |
