dangelicessence 2008-12-21 . chapter 1Wow. I would call this poem beautiful except for the darkness, makes that seem not the right word. It's very poignant and thought provoking. I'll no doubt spend quite some time trying to figure out exactly what it means. It seems very profound though and is beautifully crafted. I admire your ability to to use free verse as I think it's the lovilest but the hardest to do. Very well done, I like this a lot. |
Kiara Asukara 2006-10-10 . chapter 1Wow, this is a pretty awesome poem! I love it... I particularly liked the is part:
"The dream is really a nightmare and you're caught
between fake and reality.
Open your hand and hold a piece of the moon.
It bites at your fingers like a bit of frost and claims
your soul for devouring "
I actually can relate to this- at least the way I interpereted it. I know the feeling of a "devouring soul". Your word choice in here was really cool too. Anyway, sorry about my psychotic babbling... I thought your poem deserved more reviews so here I am. :)
Great poem,
