Been quite awhile since I have had time to read-trying to get back to it. I like this piece a lot. The first two lines are my favorite. The only thing I would suggest is to reconsider "face in the pillow". The rest of this has such a slow, languid feel and that line snapped me right out of it. Looking forward to reading more again!
