Good writing but the boy seemed a little young for 10, he acted more like 6 or 7. Also the moral of the story seems to tell kids that if they make enough fuss they can get any toy they want. However, the story was very enjoyable and I look foward to reading some of your other posts.

Oh, My Lord! Not only did I spew coffee all over the computer but I haven't been able to stop laughing. As a mother, I can completely understand this story to its fullest. How many times has this little scene been experienced through out time by countless parents? I read this entire story, from the title to the 'fin' at the end with a huge grin on my face. Oh,Michael...who knew you were funny too? "Timmy never left home again, not until he was thirty-seven and finally had a job with which he could properly support himself." I hope my kids don't wait this long! Another great job Michael, Scottie.
