Oh, this is so, so sad. It's very touching. Oh, and how it struck a chord with me, I must say... I grew up in a military family (dad's a Marine - as well as some cusins, and uncles, and about 7 of my friends from high schoo).

Thats so touching I especially liked the bit about the hated lord meaning that they went to war and died unwillingly (am I right) which I think is really it.
