I liked the imagery although it was a little hard to follow. Guess I need to go read that part of the Bible now...

This poem is pretty freakin awsome! I like the repetion of gold, it adds to the effect.
Was your character (or you) entering a church? And who was it that they saw. I makes me want to know more.
