Not that I'm uninterested in the true depths of human emotion, but...uh, note the words 'true,' 'depths,' and, hey, this one's kinda über-important, 'of.' ...Heh. Really, though. It's also exactly the right thing to pull me out of the annoyed funk that listening to neo-medieval music has put me in to (it was for a review; I had no choice). This is pretty tasteless, though. And yet... Tolkeinfuhrer cracked me up. So true. It's such a shame, what so many lousy writers can do to a perfectly good genre. You should check out M. John Harrison, if you haven't already. |

I don't really recognize the fantasy tropes you tried to point out, but hey...the ridiculousness made up for it all. you might want to write about some common fantasy tropes, not DnD but in published books.
