This short story was eerie.

I became thinking of that second music video of Lene Marlins "Unforgivable Sinner". I liked that it doesn't directly say that Thomas killed him, and that he regrets, like that guy in that music video.

I also liked that conversation between killed and Thomas, though I'm curious 'bout that killed guy's name.

At last I think this is a great story I could tell around the campfire... It's so living and almost realistic...

I can't say I felt moved exactly, or saddened in any way. It was too short to really have much of an emotional impact on me. But from a literary point of view, it was well written. The dialogue was believable, the...finger-poking was pretty grim, and the ephemeral spectre was pretty cool too. I got mildly annoyed with Thomas, because...well, who couldn't get annoyed with him? Which means that I was talking rubbish earlier, and your characters have had an emotional impact on me :).

it was sad. pure and simple. :'( but I never said it wasn't good! because it was. Somehow the ending was really touching, it kind of makes you think "what if he had believed?"

It's official, i've read everything you have posted on here. I love it all, including this. The title of the story fits perfectly, and I understood what was going on. I just wish it had ended happily. I'm a sucker for happy endings. =D

aw that was pretty sad, but good though, i like how you - i suppose the word would be re-did - the Doubting Thomas story :)very cool. i'm still sad for them though :(

Intriguing, a bit creepy and rather seems more the prologue to something than a stand alone. Good job though!

I like it, but I think it could be worked on, more drawn out. I love the idea though. Beautiful.

The story progresses in an unsual manner, there is so much new information to take in with every sentence, it's ot much that's wrapped up. It's easy to visualize, I love the last part where he puts his finger in the wound and cleans it off on his stomach, awesome scene, very, very memorable.

Thomas' character is clearly much more developed than the narrators. I get a much more vivid picture of him, a feeling, he gives atmosphere to the story while the narrator just feels wide eyed, on the brink of dream and consciousness, life and death. It's a fine balance, but it's kept well. Good job!

I love your writing...you've got excellent characters and a very clear style. The images that you invoke are beautiful (esspecially in this piece). I've got you on my favorites list. Keep turning out the good stuff!
