more people should read and review this...such a fascinating and creative way to explain writer's block. I must say that I am guilty of mistreating my muse sometimes. When I was younger, I took it for granted. Then I finished writing a 300 page story and all the creative writing left me for a whole three years. I was devastated. Fortunately, my muse and I have sat down and had an agreement written that allows me to write randomly as long as I don't push it, and when my muse goes on vacation, I too will take a vacation and read other people's works.
