Ah, love. Such a complicated topic, no? I think the point of love is to be in love minus the heartbreaking. Just the feeling of wanting and someone wanting you back (as you so poetically put it) is the gist of it. Love is not a thing, it's an emotion; something lovers feel. Basically, I agree with what you say, but I'm indifferent to love.
