Skigh 2006-12-23 . chapter 1I haven't been able to read any of your stuff lately. I didn't go online for the last few months. And you used to not update this that much. When I came back on, I was like O_o whoa... anyway, this is good. It makes me feel depressed and happy that I haven't fallen in love yet. ^__^;; |
hellbentheretic 2006-11-09 . chapter 1Oh, man is this guy ever a f*ing tool! One can say that there are those out there that are suckers for a pretty face, but goddamn what a manipulative **! The bit about "come to bed darling" would have been the last straw if I'd been that guy. Great sense of characterization here because I absolutely detested both of the characters! This is good don't get me wrong I'm not disparaging your work, but these two characters are basically terrible human beings in the sense that one does the manipulating and cares nothing for the feelings of the one who is being manipulated. This guy strikes me as someone who would put himself willingly into that situation for the hope of getting a piece of **. I imagine many people do this all the time.
I maybe would not go off about how much the season Fall being so pretty and so forth, but get to the meat of the matter by telling us why he is there with her- as in who's house are they in. Is it his friend or her friend- this seemed rather fuzzy as I read this thing. Also how did he meet her?
I do like that you used no name for the girl which makes her role seem even more aloof and distant from any kind of real relations with the guy- I'm sure he knows her name, but the very fact that he doesn't mention it in dialogue is great!
Take those parathesis off that(Title)! This is a no no!
All around tight delivery, but could be sharper and more refined.
good good,
