Definitely an interesting piece.

The story has a list-like format to it, each sentence beginning with "The stranger, Ur, he, etc." This might actually be forgivable with this piece, because it strikes me as more tribal than anything else; in depth descriptions and metaphors might feel out of place. Anyhow, good job.
