The last stanza is perfect, to me; it kinda tiptoes off. Sneaky.

Wow, intense poem. Some of the images in this are just outstanding. I love "philosopher paint cologne and thyme" and "bloodshot grey eyes." I mean, this poem really is intense. I love the last 5 lines of this, too, "and the knowledge of being alone/dirty/and alone, and sick, and alone, and/quiet, and/still." Just beautiful work, my dear. Keep writing! :)
