| I.O.K.O 2008-04-16 ch 1, | certainly hopeless feel. |
| Taylor Janelle 2007-11-11 ch 1, | Not my favorite, but I especially liked the line, "And face the Oblivion Sea". The reason this poem wasn't my particular pleasure was only because I feel like I've seen that feeling and that tired depression too many times. The writing was exactly where it should be. The emotion the poem was based on a feeling I've felt before in extremes, so I simply feel numb when reading about it. But still, nice work. Very nice work. It's good to get these kind of things out on paper...or in this case, computer. |
| a silenced revolution 2007-03-11 ch 1, | I so love this. Honest and sad. GREAT work, I'm faving it. ~Hazellin |
| Ironic Presence 2006-12-26 ch 1, | Ooh, good poem. I like "Oblivion Sea" best (descriptions, I mean). Everything you wrote and emphasized was just fitting and it all clicked. It was awesome. I'm trying to become a constructive criticist, but all criticism I have for you is good, so you have a reprieve from my endless babbling. keep writing. |
| Lyra Pocaterra 2006-11-19 ch 1, | Wow, very powerful images come to mind, and a good tittle. I like poems for "not happy people", they often make us think about our lives and look around us, rather than see what we want to see. I love writing poems, I think another one might be coming on thanks to you! Keep the good work up. |
| rust phoenix 2006-11-02 ch 1, | This is good, very dark and emotional. I love the images in this, and the line about the Oblivion Sea. The rhyming works well, it seems like a song. Keep writing! |
| Edgar Wellington 2006-11-02 ch 1, | While this poem does not grab me, it has a lot to be said for it. You successfully convey the essence of struggle, desperation, confusion. Phrases like "Reaching for the light/Stumbling over my own thoughts" and "the dullness of never" and "Oblivion sea," are unique and evocative. I like the structure of this poem, each stanza is coherent and introduced well. The first two lines are really good, it tells me a lot about the MC's pain. Everyone confronts the notion of suicide in one form or the other during one's life. I like the message that it really is the last failure. |
| honkytonkqtpie 2006-10-31 ch 1, | great stuff. I love the images you create. |
| Karine Dragon'sheart 2006-10-31 ch 1, | Yay! Slant rhyme! Thankee for the review...the poem's been kinda aching to get out, so I finally wrote it yesterday. Anywho, excellant lines...'I will stow away my heart and face the Oblivion Sea'? Love it. Laters, KD |
| Sillygoose49 2006-10-25 ch 1, | Hey! This is very good. I particularly liked the two lines "Though I wish I could, / I musn't give up the urge to fight." |
| The Smoke 2006-10-25 ch 1, | Wow...very powerful and meaningful. Flowed very nicely as well. This is definately my favourite of all your poems. |
| NOLONGERAVAILABLE 2006-10-24 ch 1, | wow, very deep and relatable. i think even happy people have these moements~ :) so many times i think i've probably hit this same wall and wanted to just slide down and lean against it comfortably so i can just drown in my own failure; as always i get bored and i find a way to climb the wall on to the next large and annoying obstacle. well written, i like it. |
| myheartiswaypastbeating 2006-10-24 ch 1, | Love writing in this style and liked how you pulled it all together at the end. Well done |
