I'm confused by the line "He twisted his head slightly to look at his assassin, and she let me." the rest of the story isn't in first person. other than that, it was very good. i would like to know more, but in life we aren't always blessed with all the facts. and the fact that you seem to understand this is what makes me really enjoy this peice.
