Reviews For: The grave that could have been
chocoholic 2006-12-22 . chapter 1
This is the best piece on September 11th that I've read here. It was just very, very well written and dug down into your personal experience rather than just scattering cliches and taking refuge in pointless, defensive anger. I was moved.

How do you know what is behind those bars and lights? How do you know that all that is being done by those is keeping people from feeling uncomfortable? For all you know it could still be dangerous back there, or because this isn't too likely after 5 years, some sort of commemoritive monument or something isn't being built back there. To me the time line and the pictures seem like whoever put them up wants the towers to be remembered and what you've described seems temporary. I don't think that you should criticize unless you actually know what's going on.

this was so emotional. i loved it. i notice you haven't written anything in a long time. writers block? me too. i finally wrote a new poem today. again, this was well written. is this based on a true event in your life? i hope not. i could never get over that...
