Gazing at the stars can definitely be thought-provoking. I tend to mention them a lot in my stories.

Not sure I interpreted it correctly, but since you were looking into the night sky when you came up with this, I wonder if you're wondering if God is out there or not... or maybe it's a reference to aliens? You hope you're not alone but at the same time fear what it would mean if you're NOT alone. Am I right?
